Meet Chef Lucas López
Born in Buenos Aires, Lucas López Caruezo grew up both in Argentina and Italy, where he found very strong roots in agronomy, tradition and cuisine. He has several years of fine dining experience acknowledged by the Michelin and San Pellegrino Guides. Before landing at our restaurant and cocktail bar in San Jose del Cabo, Lucas held various positions at prestigious dining establishments such as Massimo Bottura's Osteria Francescana, Giuseppe Iannotti's Krèsios and Francis Mallmann's Patagonia Sur. He completed his Food and Beverage Management studies in Buenos Aires and his master's degree in Agronomy in Italy. He is very passionate about Mexico cuisine and culture, especially pre-Hispanic cultures, such as the Mazatec.
