Meet Chef Jeffrey Liu Rodríguez Román

Jeffrey Liu Rodríguez Román embarked on his gastronomic journey at the renowned D'Gallia Gastronomic Institute in Lima, Peru. There, he developed a profound appreciation for food preparation and service, laying the foundation for what would become an illustrious career. 

Commencing in 2013, Rodríguez Román assumed formative roles at esteemed Peruvian restaurants, such as La Mar, Sana Food, and Inkari in Lima immersing himself in the nuances of Peruvian cuisine. 

Venturing beyond Peru's borders, he seized opportunities at prestigious venues such as The Ritz-Carlton in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 2016. During his tenure, he played an integral role in the kitchen team of BTL Steak House and the Ocean Bar and Grill. His proficiency and dedication were evident, contributing to the seamless performance of these venues. 

His journey continued at The Ritz-Carlton in Santiago, Chile, where Rodríguez Román not only showcased his culinary prowess but also ascended to leadership positions, leaving a lasting impact on the culinary landscape. 

In 2019, assuming the role of Sous Chef at Equis Restaurant, he introduced an innovative approach to menu development, emphasizing the use of local ingredients and incorporating fresh, seasonal seafood. 

Later in 2021, Chef Rodríguez Román showcased his culinary versatility at Humo Restaurant, leading the way in delivering exceptional Latin American grill experiences. Since 2022, he has assumed the role of Banquet Sous Chef, where he oversees a talented team dedicated to curating unforgettable dining experiences for discerning guests. Rodríguez Román unwavering commitment to culinary excellence and meticulous attention to detail ensure the success of every event he undertakes. 

His journey as a gastronomic professional is characterized by a relentless pursuit of excellence, complemented by a deep respect for tradition and a bounless passion for innovation. With each meticulously crafted dish and seamlessly orchestrated event, Rodríguez Román leaves an indelible mark on the culinary scene, captivating palates and hearts alike.
